Internet Publishing is the fastest growing division of Scottish News Agency and stems from our involvement in 1999 with the setting up of www.scotsman.com.
In addition, to providing bespoke content for clients’ web-sites, we now also publish a growing range of internet publications.
These include www.housingnews.co.uk, which publishes eight free daily regional newsletters aimed at the social housing sector providing news, events and job information to over 30,000 readers.
Housing News editor Jon Brown said, “I have worked with
Housing News since its infancy, when it began as Scottish Housing
News back in 2001. It has been very rewarding to see it grow and
develop and to see the success that we have had in Scotland repeated
down south.
“We are constantly developing the publication and it is great to see the press releases increase in volume and the readership and advertising grow. It gives you a sense of achievement.”
The
latest internet publication by the agency is Construction Now! Editor
of www.constructionnow.co.uk,
Craig Maclagan said, “After the success of www.housingnews.co.uk ,
moving into construction seemed like an obvious step, many Housing
News readers were in the construction industry. We trialled it
in Scotland and were amazed at the response we had. Word of mouth
and ‘viral marketing’ led to a rapid growth in readership, which
was followed by the advertisers. The same pattern has been evident
in London where we have launched London Construction Now! The mix
of leads, regional and national news firmly focussed on construction
has proved attractive for an industry which is becoming increasingly
aware of the importance of the internet.”
