Oasis played many memorable concerts in Scotland during the 1990s and 2000s, including performances in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Balloch.

The band were first discovered in Glasgow at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut by Creation Records boss Alan McGee in May 1993 when they blagged their way on stage and performed four tunes.

Glasgow, October 2001

Oasis played two nights at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom in October 2001 as part of their 10 Years Of Noise And Confusion tour. The shows were filmed as the band tore through a set of classic songs, capturing the raw atmosphere, energy and excitement of their early gigs. Widely regarded as some of Oasis’s finest performances—and among their best-ever shows in Glasgow—the gigs remain a standout moment in the band’s live history.

Balloch, August 1996

As Oasis’s fame continued to soar, the band played two huge shows at Balloch Castle Country Park in August 1996, with support from bands including Cast and Ocean Colour Scene. Officially, 80,000 fans attended across the two gigs, but according to those who were there, the real story was far more chaotic. Fences were reportedly torn down, while some determined fans even swam or rowed across Loch Lomond just to get close enough to see Oasis perform.
