Guy Fawkes Night is one of the highlights of the autumn calendar.

Whether you’re heading out with the family, planning a night out with your partner, or simply fancy taking in some spectacular fireworks, there are plenty of ways to enjoy Bonfire Night in and around Glasgow.

Here are six of the best places in and around Glasgow to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night in 2026.

Enjoy a spectacular evening of fireworks at Lenzie Rugby Football Club. Bring your family and friends for a night of fun and excitement as they light up the sky with dazzling displays.

Strathaven Fireworks and Bonfire Night

Organised by Strathaven Round Table, the Strathaven Fireworks and Bonfire Night on Saturday 7 November will kick off in Strathaven Park from 5.30pm; while the bonfire will be lit at 7pm. The fireworks display will begin at 7.30pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance, from £5 for individual tickets or £15 for a family of four. Under 5's go free but remember that this is a ticketed event.

Halfway Fireworks Display

Returning for 2026, Halfway Fireworks Display is the community's biggest annual event. The display will begin around 7pm on Saturday 7 November at Newton station car park with the event being free to attend.

GHA Fireworks Display

The annual GHA Rugby Football Club Fireworks display, the largest and best near the Southside, will be taking place on Thursday 5 November 2026. Gates open at 6pm and the display is scheduled to start at 7.15pm.

Dumbarton Firework Display

West Dumbartonshire Council's annual firework display will be held at Levengrove Park, Dumbarton on Thursday 5 November. No tickets are needed for this event, with there also being an opportunity to buy food and drinks.

Celebrate Guy Fawkes night safely with a bang at the Lanark & District Round Table Fireworks Display at Moor Park on Saturday 7 November.
