Vintage cars, spaceships and giant cranes are coming to Coatbridge this weekend.

Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life’s popular Meccano Show returns on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September from 10am – 3.30pm.

Explore a world of engineering magic with working Meccano models of all shapes and sizes—vintage vehicles, towering cranes, and interactive machines you can try out yourself.

Visitors can also view the single largest display of Meccano in Scotland at the Meccano Society of Scotland’s annual exhibition.

This free family event is fun for all ages and a brilliant way to spend your weekend.

And there’s another chance to marvel at some vintage cars at the ‘mini’ Classic Car show on Sunday, 20th September from 10am - 3pm which features character appearances, family activities and more.
