Seamill Hydro is marking National Fitness Day by officially opening a new wellness café and boutique Reformer Pilates studio on the Ayrshire coast.

The Club House café and purpose-built Pilates studio are the latest additions to Hydro Health Club, supporting National Fitness Day’s ambition to encourage people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels to become more active.

Created for health club members, hotel guests and the wider community, the new facilities form another major part of the family-owned hotel’s transformation into a complete coastal wellness resort by 2027.

The Club House combines a welcoming wellness café with a dedicated recovery bar, offering a relaxed space where visitors can refuel after a workout, meet friends for coffee, or unwind after a swim or fitness class.

Its menu features freshly made smoothies, protein shakes, speciality coffees, nutritious meals and a selection of wellness-focused drinks.

Opening alongside the café is Seamill Hydro’s new boutique Reformer Pilates studio, offering specialist-led classes in an intimate small-group setting.

The calm, contemporary studio has been fitted with premium Technogym SandStone Reformers, selected to deliver a smooth, quiet and comfortable workout experience.

With only six places available in each class, instructors can provide more individual guidance and support throughout each session.

Classes will focus on controlled movement to help improve strength, stability, posture, flexibility and overall wellbeing, with sessions suitable for a range of abilities and experience levels.

Aaron Kyle, Director at RAD Group Hotel, said: “National Fitness Day is the perfect occasion on which to officially open The Club House and our new Reformer Pilates studio at Seamill Hydro.

“The day is about showing that physical activity can be for everyone, and that is exactly what we want these new facilities to represent: an inclusive, welcoming environment where people can move, refuel and invest in their wellbeing.”

“Reformer Pilates has grown enormously in popularity, but there are still limited opportunities to experience it locally. We wanted to create a beautiful and welcoming studio where people can enjoy high-quality classes with more personalised support, whether they are complete beginners or already familiar with Reformer Pilates.

“With only six people in each class, our instructors can spend more time supporting every participant, helping them to build confidence, develop their technique and get the most from each session.

“The Club House complements the studio and the wider health club by giving people somewhere to refuel, recover or simply meet friends for coffee.

“These openings represent another important step in the continued development of Seamill Hydro. Our ambition is to bring outstanding wellness facilities to the Ayrshire coast while ensuring they remain welcoming and accessible to our members, hotel guests and the local community.”
