Sam Fender has announced a huge headline show at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium as part of his biggest tour to date.

The North Shields singer will play Murrayfield on Thursday 8 July 2027 during his newly announced Proper Massive Stadium Tour.

British alt-rock band Wunderhorse will support Fender at the Edinburgh date and across all of the UK stadium shows.

The 2027 tour will take Fender to some of the biggest venues in Britain, including two nights at Wembley Stadium in London and two shows at both St James’ Park in Newcastle and Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.

He will also perform at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Marlay Park and headline Belgium’s Rock Werchter festival.

His third album, People Watching, was released in 2025 and went to number one before winning the Mercury Prize.

The album era also produced Rein Me In, his collaboration with Olivia Dean, which became a major chart hit.
