Scotland’s gin and rum producers have been recognised at the 2026 Scottish Gin and Rum awards, presented as part of the Scottish Distillers Conference in Glasgow.
The awards were presented at the Doubletree by Hilton, Glasgow Central on Wednesday 7 October, bring together producers, distillers and leading figures from across Scotland’s spirits industry for a day of discussions, networking, celebration and recognition.
More than 150 delegates attended the Scottish Distillers Conference, which featured a packed programme of speakers, industry insight and discussion focused on the opportunities, challenges and future of Scotland’s distilling sector.

The Scottish Gin Awards showcased Scotland’s gin sector, with medals presented across a range of taste categories alongside awards recognising excellence in business, tourism and the wider industry.
Among the major winners was Isle of Tiree Distillery, which was crowned Scottish Distillery of the Year, sponsored by Rankin Brothers & Sons.
Eden Mill St. Andrews Distillery was named Gin Tourism Destination of the Year, sponsored by Macfarlane Labels, recognising its contribution to Scotland’s growing distillery tourism offering.

The presentation of both awards formed part of a successful day at the Scottish Distillers Conference, where delegates came together to share knowledge, hear from industry experts and discuss the future direction of Scotland’s distilling industry.
The programme explored some of the key issues and opportunities facing producers today, from changing consumer trends and tourism to innovation and the evolving spirits market.
