The team behind The Asian is bringing a brand-new immersive dining concept to Giffnock this December.
A brand-new restaurant and late-night entertainment venue will open on Fenwick Road.
Richmond Palace will combine stunning food, cocktails, immersive dining and live entertainment within an impressive new venue designed to offer something completely different to the local area.
The new concept comes from the owners of The Asian in Newton Mearns, which will remain open until December and will close just as Richmond Palace opens, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the team.
Far more than a traditional restaurant, Richmond Palace is being created as a complete dining and entertainment destination, with a striking interior fit-out, elevated food offering, stylish cocktails and an atmosphere designed to take guests from dinner into late-night drinks and entertainment.
Live entertainment will feature on both Friday and Saturday evenings, with the venue remaining open until midnight at weekends.
The food will be at the heart of Richmond Palace, with the team developing an elevated menu and immersive dining experience that will bring together exceptional flavours, beautiful presentation and a premium restaurant setting.
The co-owners of The Asian said: “The Asian has been such a huge part of our lives and we’ve had so many amazing customers support us over the years, so it will always be incredibly special to us.
“We’ll continue welcoming customers there right up until December, when The Asian will close just as Richmond Palace opens its doors in Giffnock.
“We felt the time was right to create something new and take everything we’ve learned into a completely different concept.
“Richmond Palace is going to be much more than somewhere you simply come for dinner. We want it to feel like an experience from the moment you walk through the door, with incredible food, beautiful interiors, cocktails, live entertainment and a really special atmosphere.
“The concept will have an almost fine-dining feel while still being somewhere people can come and enjoy themselves, whether that’s for dinner, drinks, a celebration or a full night out.
“We genuinely feel Richmond Palace is going to be the perfect addition to Giffnock and we can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been working on.”
The venue is currently undergoing an extensive fit-out ahead of its planned December 2026 opening, with further details on the menu, entertainment programme and official launch date set to be announced soon.
Bookings will be opening soon, with guests encouraged to follow Richmond Palace on social media for the latest updates, opening announcements and sneak peeks behind the scenes as the new venue comes together.
