When is The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 on TV?

The Celebrity Traitors series two begins on Thursday 1 October 2026 with an extra-long opening episode at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

The series will air two nights a week on Thursday and Friday evenings at 8pm.

Where is The Celebrity Traitors filmed? 

The Celebrity Traitors is filmed at Ardross Castle in a magnificent 19th-century castle in the Scottish Baronial style set within beautiful formal gardens and over 100 acres of parkland on the banks of the River Alness. It is located just north of Inverness in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. 

The Castle and its grounds also provide an exciting location for film and TV. The Castle has recently been the location for The Traitors TV series, both UK & US versions.

James Blunt said: “I was promised a holiday in Scotland! I’m just here for a lovely walking holiday in The Highlands. Seriously, I’d love to have a go at the game. It’s something that we’ve watched at home and loved.”

Bella Ramsey said: “I’ve been playing a version of The Traitors since I was 10 years old when I joined The Television Workshop. I’ve had game evenings and hosted them at my house and been to other’s evenings so I’m familiar with the game. I love it so much, and that was really my reason why. I was working on a production at the time of the last Celebrity Traitors – It’s called Maya which was filmed in Scotland, actually. We were all watching and so excited about it, and then we ended up playing a crew game.”

Sharon Rooney said: “It’s absolutely beautiful here. I still live in Scotland, I love home and I’ve probably had the shortest journey to the castle.”
