Terminal V has revealed Clydeside Live, a new dedicated open-air event space on the banks of the River Clyde, as the home of its landmark 10th anniversary festival.
The seven-acre waterfront site at 225 South Street in Glasgow will host the electronic music festival from 4 to 6 June 2027.
Clydeside Live is being developed as a permanent destination for large-scale outdoor events, with plans for the site to host concerts, festivals, sporting events, fan zones and seasonal attractions. It could also be used as a location for film and television productions.
New images released alongside the announcement show how the former industrial site could be transformed into a major outdoor entertainment venue overlooking the Clyde.
Terminal V festival is moving from Edinburgh to Glasgow as it celebrates a decade since its launch and will expand to three days for the first time. It will also be the first fully outdoor Scottish edition of the event.
Organisers are planning a new waterfront main stage, alongside outdoor versions of the festival’s established The Hangar and The Greenhouse stages.
More than 100 artists are expected to appear across the weekend, with the full line-up still to be announced. Terminal V was launched in Edinburgh in 2017 as a one-day event with a capacity of around 2,000.
It subsequently grew into one of Scotland’s biggest electronic music events, traditionally taking over the Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston.
The festival has also increasingly attracted visitors from outside Scotland, with more than 30% of ticket sales now coming from elsewhere.
Its move west represents a new addition to Glasgow’s outdoor music calendar and gives the city another potential location for major concerts and events. The seven-acre Clydeside Live site sits on the north bank of the river in an area of former dockland at South Street.

“We’ve seen venues like Silverworks Island demonstrate just how exciting these large-scale outdoor inner city spaces can be for electronic music, and we believe Clydeside Live has the potential to become one of the most exciting new outdoor event destinations in the UK.
“For our 10th anniversary, we have the opportunity to build the festival from the ground up, rethink our stages and production for the setting and create an experience that feels distinctly Glasgow while still being unmistakably Terminal V. We can’t wait for people to see what we have planned.”
