Marti Pellow fans are in for a treat as the former Wet Wet Wet frontman has announced a one-week run at the Citizens Theatre. The Love is All Around singer will take audiences on a journey of music, conversation, and personal storytelling in his latest production The Voice in the Room. The event runs from May 31 to June 5, 2027. Pellow said: “Over the last 40 years I’ve been lucky enough to share so many moments with audiences, but this feels different. “I’ll sing a lot, I’ll talk a lot and, hopefully, by the end of the evening you’ll walk away feeling like you know me a little better. “That’s what The Voice in the Room is all about.” Marti Pellow is one of the most recognisable and celebrated voices in British pop. As the frontman of Wet Wet Wet, he led the band to incredible success with over 15 million records sold, 30 UK chart hits, and three No.1 singles -including the iconic Love is All Around, which topped the UK chart for 15 consecutive weeks. With a signature blend of pop, soul, and romantic balladry, Pellow’s vocals helped define the sound of a generation. Being back home means everything, and sharing music with the people who shaped me makes it even sweeter. Let’s have a Marti Party in the park, bring your dancing shoes and your smiles, and I’ll bring the songs we all know and love.” Pellow also is set to star in Scrooge The Musical as it takes over SEC Armadillo in Glasgow between December 12 and January 10, 2027 for a limited five-week run, with general on sale on November 14.
