Plans for All Bar One to open a second unit in Glasgow at Central Station have been scrapped.
Hospitality company Mitchells & Butlers, which owns the brand, aimed to revitalise a vacant unit above M&S Simply Food with plans to convert the former Central Bar which has been closed since 2016.
An application to sell alcohol from the licensing board was approved in December 2024 with it being confirmed that plans have now been scrapped
A spokesperson for Network Rail told us: “All Bar One is no longer progressing with plans to open at Glasgow Central. We are continuing to explore opportunities for the unit and discussions with potential occupiers are ongoing.
“We remain committed to securing a new tenant for the space and will provide an update once any future plans have been confirmed.”
