Safer Group launches new head office in Inverclyde

Safer Group, a site security firm based in Inverclyde, has inaugurated its new head office within Kelburn Business Park.

This expansion comes alongside its existing unit, which has been repurposed as a dedicated testing and research facility.

The new head office, boasting state-of-the-art facilities, will accommodate up to 30 members of the team, including Logistics, Finance, HR, Sales and Marketing, and the Executive Team.

Established in 2016 by local entrepreneur Ryan Clark from Greenock, Safer Group specialises in safeguarding construction sites, infrastructure, and assets with its cutting-edge intruder detection system, known as Safer PODs.

Experiencing robust growth since its inception, the company has doubled in size approximately every 18 months. This expansion follows a record-breaking year, witnessing annual turnover skyrocket from £5 million to £12m, with staff headcount now surpassing 60.

Ryan Clark, group CEO, expressed his commitment to providing a top-class working environment for Safer Group’s employees, stating, “Our high standards are reflected first and foremost in our team – the consequence of this is felt throughout our business and the standard of the new HQ is just another consequence of having great people.”

He added: “This new HQ marks an important milestone for the business and signifies our future ambitions.”

As a Greenock resident, Clark is dedicated to enhancing opportunities for local individuals and supports various young sportspeople and clubs, including MMA fighter Reece McEwan, Greenock Boxing Club and Greenock Juniors FC.

Also present at the launch were Inverclyde Council Councillors Michael McCormick and Jim Clocherty, who have been hugely supportive to Safer Group since 2016.
