People across Scotland have a number of events to choose from this weekend, with sport, pop culture and live entertainment taking place in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
In Glasgow, EPIC Comic Con is returning to the SEC from Saturday, September 26 to Sunday, September 27. The event brings together fans of film, television, gaming, comics, anime and cosplay, with special guests, stage shows, gaming, props and exhibitions taking place across the weekend.
In Edinburgh, Scotland Women will take on Australia at Hive Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The WXV Global Series match kicks off at 4.10pm, with the two sides meeting in Scotland for the first time.
Meanwhile, elrow is heading to Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre on Saturday for an immersive dance event, bringing music, performers and colourful production to the venue.
