One of Scotland’s most in-demand Christmas events is returning to Loch Lomond Shores this festive season.
Itison Drive-In Movies Christmas is back with a bumper line-up of Christmas classics, cult favourites and family blockbusters - and tickets go on-sale next week.
The attraction, which sells out within minutes every year, runs on selected dates from Friday, 11th December to Christmas Eve (24th December).
Tickets go on sale Wednesday 4th November at 7.30am, exclusively at itison.com/drivein.
Oli Norman, CEO of itison, said: “Thousands of families across the country have made itison Drive-In Movies Christmas part of their festive traditions, and every year we’re blown away by the demand.
“This Christmas we’re going bigger than ever with 28 screenings, so if you’ve missed out on tickets before, this is your chance.
“Whether it’s singing along to Elf, watching Home Alone with the kids or enjoying Love Actually on a festive date night, there’s nothing quite like Christmas at itison Drive-In and we can’t wait to welcome everyone this December.”
Set against the magical, fairy-lit backdrop of Loch Lomond Shores, the much-loved Christmas tradition will see thousands of movie lovers cosy up in their cars for festive favourites including Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually, The Polar Express, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Die Hard 2 – all shown on the world’s biggest mobile LED screen.
And the magic doesn’t stop at the movies. Expect a full festive experience with in-car entertainment, Christmas car-a-oke, gourmet street food and plenty of festive cheer to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
This year’s Drive-In boasts a tasty line-up of gourmet street food including churros from Glasgow favourites Loop & Scoop, delicious fried chicken from Dirty Bird, wood-fired pizzas, popcorn and delicious, marshmallow topped hot chocolates.
