Oasis have launched the countdown to their next tour announcement with a drone display above Manchester, as fans await dates for the band’s Celtic Park concerts.
The display above the Etihad Stadium pointed to Monday 14 September, setting the stage for the reveal of the Gallagher brothers’ next run of shows.
ScottishNews.com revealed on 28 August that the band were preparing to announce Celtic Park concerts as part of their 2027 plans.
The Manchester display follows a series of cryptic promotional videos teasing destinations across the UK and Europe.
A Glasgow-themed clip featured two young men in a chip shop, with Irn-Bru, a deep-fried Mars bar and numbers that fans decoded as coordinates for Celtic Park.
The same musicians who joined Liam and Noel on the reunion tour are expected to return, including Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, Joey Waronker and Christian Madden.
Demand for accommodation is already building before tickets go on sale, with sharp increases reported at some Glasgow hotels around the anticipated dates.
