Animals at Edinburgh Zoo have been enjoying spooky treats and pumpkin-themed activities as keepers help them get into the Halloween spirit.
The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) said animals across the zoo have been given special Halloween enrichment, with treats designed by keepers to encourage natural behaviours.
Danilo, a southern three-banded armadillo, was seen rolling his pumpkin around his habitat, while the zoo’s ring-tailed lemurs explored a haunted house.
Meanwhile, Babu the sun bear made short work of her jack-o’-lanterns as she tucked into the seasonal treats.
The activities give visitors a chance to see the animals interacting with different objects and exploring their surroundings.
