Declan McConville is a Digital Journalist who covers a broad range of stories across Scotland.

A graduate of the University of Strathclyde, where he studied Politics and Journalism, Declan has developed a varied portfolio spanning local news, entertainment, travel, food, property and music.

His work has appeared across a number of Scottish and UK publications, including The Scotsman, Edinburgh Evening News and The Yorkshire Post, and he has reported on everything from Glasgow’s changing hospitality and property landscape to major cultural events including the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
